To further the success of communities seeking empowerment and cultural awareness while also addressing the areas of opportunity in a manner that goes beyond generational boundaries.
Vision
To see communities exist with a sense of cultural awareness that coincides with their communal empowerment making it possible for them to break the cycle of regression that comes with the expiration of resources that were limited by time, funding, and/or commitment.

The Rebirth of The United Families Coalition
The Rebirth of The United Families Coalition calls for ALL organizations that exist with a commitment to the empowerment of the community to sit together and understand that progress comes from the collective and not the selective.
Academic, community, for-profit, fraternal, non-profit, religious, and street organizations will come together and fill the pool of resources to make progress more than just a poetic phrase.
No longer can we emit the energy of exhaustion because we feel we have not evolved above the forces that seek to deny us, when those forces are clearly organized and we have grown content with our disorganization.
On February 4, 2012, in New York City, the rebirth of the United Families Coalition will come to fruition.
The table has been set and the seats have been arranged….all that remains is that they are filled.
